Greater Portland Health Hires Jennifer Rogers as HIV and Infectious Disease Health Provider

Nurse practitioner Jennifer Rogers, M.S., NP-C, AAHIVS, joins the team to provide care for patients living with HIV and other infectious diseases. Rogers has more than 16 years of clinical experience working with underserved, chronically ill, and ethnically diverse populations in a variety of locations.  She has also served as a clinical educator and resource across disciplines and state agencies in the areas of HIV/AIDS and chronic viral hepatitis.

The Portland Community Center is celebrating the opening of a new location in South Portland. With that move the organization is also changing its name. The Portland Community Health Center board of directors says the new name, Greater Portland Health, reflects the new location.

Portland Community Health Center Partners with Portland Recovery Community Center to Help People Suffering From Addiction

Portland Community Health Center (PCHC) is partnering with the Portland Recovery Community Center to offer a multi-disciplinary treatment program for people who are suffering from addiction, also known as substance use disorder. PCHC is one of only four organizations in Maine to be awarded funds by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to improve and expand the delivery of substance use disorder services in health centers.
