We are in need of volunteers to help with administrative projects in the following areas...
Assisting with the referrals process:
- Call patients to verify insurance information, change PCP on insurance plan, or schedule appointments with specialty offices
- Add completed referrals to referral tracking list
- Organize and maintain completed referrals
- Close completed referrals in NextGen.
In medical records:
- Organize scanning documents
- Review and file new pt’s registration forms
- File insurance cards in NextGen
- Shred documents
General office assistance (e.g. filing, scanning, shredding documents)
- must be able to provide proof of immunizations
- volunteer roles do not include clinical duties or patient contact
