Happy September! Summer is slowing down, but things at Greater Portland Health are speeding up! Our staff members have been busy taking care of patients and welcoming students back into GPH’s school-based health centers.

The school year has officially started, and our School-Based Health Centers are in full swing. Our marketing team visited Portland High School to take videos of the health center and interview one of our fabulous providers, Dr. Gita. Whether you’re a patient at one of our SBHCs, a parent, or merely curious about GPH’s offerings, please have a look!

All Staff Meeting

This week, all GPH employees shared a meal, participated in bonding activities, and gathered together to reflect upon our shared mission. Supporting 17 health centers in Greater Portland, staff members are dispersed across multiple sites. These meetings present meaningful opportunities to build connections across the organization. Drawing competitions, tower building, and icebreakers- oh my!

GPH will be participating in the Maine Marathon, and we would love for you to be part of it:

Become a Fundraiser: Run alongside members of our staff, community, and patient population at the event; whether you register for the marathon, half marathon, or as part of a relay team, your fundraising efforts will directly support GPH.

Donate to GPH: You can also support our mission by making a donation, 100% of which will support our community health center.
